Welcome to YOKOsPHOTOGRAPHY.
My name is Yoko, and I'm a portrait photographer based on the Gold Coast. From headshots to weddings, I love capturing all genres of photography. My biggest passion right now is to help people feel good about themselves and love themselves through my photography.
I've heard that 99% of people feel they're not photogenic, and as a result, they don't feel good in front of the camera. My mission as a photographer is to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and take the most confident and beautiful photos of you.
Without realising it, this year marks my 10th anniversary in photography. It’s been an incredible journey. Photography isn't just a job for me; it's my passion. It's my way of celebrating the beauty of life in all its forms.
Over the past decade, I've had the honour of capturing countless moments for people on the Gold Coast/Brisbane area. But what truly makes this journey fulfilling is the incredible people I've met along the way.

I am a wife and mother to a teenage boy and a fluffy girl. I am a fighter, a dreamer, and a tea lover. I understand how it feels to be shy in front of the camera, which is why I strive to make photoshoots as enjoyable as possible.
My work has been recognized by ABIA, and I was chosen as the official event photographer for the 9th National ABIA Designer of Dreams Gala Dinner Awards, where the top vendors in Australia gather to celebrate the National Industry Awards on the Gold Coast.
